Add stablecoin checkout to your store: customers pay in USDT or USDC from any wallet or exchange, orders update by webhook, and you pay 1% per payment.
Updated · Wolf Pay team
Wolf Pay is open in test mode: you can sign up, integrate and run test payments today. Live payments open once our custody partner goes live.
Key points
- Customers pay in USDT or USDC from any wallet or exchange, on TRON, Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum or Polygon.
- There are no chargebacks: a stablecoin payment can't be pulled back by the payer. Refunds are yours to give.
- A hosted checkout shows the amount, address, QR code and network, so you don't build any crypto code.
- WooCommerce has a plugin; anything else connects with the REST API or Node.js SDK.
- 1% per payment, $3 minimum, no monthly fee.
Why stores add stablecoin payments
Customers who can't or won't pay by card. In much of the world, USDT is how people hold dollars. A customer in Lagos, Buenos Aires or Manila may have more in an exchange account than on a card that works abroad.
No chargebacks. Once a stablecoin transfer is confirmed, the payer can't reverse it. That removes the friendly fraud that card disputes enable. You still decide refunds yourself, and Wolf Pay sends them back to the paying wallet.
Dollars, not volatility. USDT and USDC are pegged to the US dollar, so a $49 order is $49 when it lands, unlike accepting Bitcoin directly.
What the checkout looks like
When a customer picks stablecoins at checkout, they go to a hosted Wolf Pay page with:
- the exact amount and coin,
- the deposit address and a QR code,
- the network in large type, with a warning against sending on another one,
- a countdown, and live status as the payment confirms.
When it confirms, the customer is sent back to your store and your server gets a signed webhook (payment.paid) to fulfil the order. If a customer sends too little, the payment is marked underpaid with the difference; too much is marked overpaid so you can refund the extra.
Ways to connect
- WooCommerce: the Wolf Pay plugin adds the payment method, completes orders from webhooks and handles refunds from the order screen.
- Your own site or app: create a payment with one API call, redirect to
checkout_url, and listen for webhooks. - No website: send payment links and invoices from the dashboard.
- Shopify: there's no Wolf Pay app yet. Payment links work in the meantime.
Which coins and networks to offer
Most stores offer USDT on TRON (what exchange users send most) and USDC on Base or Solana (the lowest fees). See all supported coins and networks.
What it costs
1% of each payment, at least $3, with no setup or monthly fee. The customer's wallet pays the network fee. See pricing.
Frequently asked questions
Can customers dispute a stablecoin payment like a card chargeback?
No. A confirmed stablecoin transfer can't be reversed by the payer, so there are no chargebacks. You can still refund customers yourself from the Wolf Pay dashboard or API.
Do I need to hold crypto or run a wallet to accept stablecoins in my store?
No. Payments are credited to your Wolf Pay balance, and you pay out to your own wallet when you choose.
What happens if a customer sends less than the order total?
The payment is marked underpaid and your webhook says how much arrived, so you can ask for the rest or refund it.
